The staple geocache container (at least in the UK) is the 35mm Film Pot
Normally waterproof (the white ones are decidedly better than the black ones, due to the lid design) they can be found adorning the bases of trees all over the country. So, it was no surprise that when I found myself in a photography studio today, I happened to spot a couple of them behind the counter. I assumed that the film would have died out, apart from perhaps professional photographers, so when I was told that they had ‘hundreds out back’ I jumped at the chance of grabbing some.
I came out with 400 pots to my name. Now I just have to find somewhere to hide them….
